This year the Motorshow@ event took place as part of a male focused event across Fathers Day weekend, showcasing the latest models from the regions local car retailers.
14 brands exhibited and 21 cars were sold at the show, totalling more than £270,000 with thousands of prospective leads taken across the four days for follow up sales.
Car brands at the show included Mercedes-Benz, Saab, Suzuki and Alfa Romeo. Westfield Sports Cars were at the show offering visitors driving experiences in their sports cars around a race circuit.
Motorshow@ organiser Mike Richardson explained:
“The idea of Motorshow@ is to bring the car brands to the people. During this financially difficult time for the automotive industry, it is more important than ever to be visible to the consumer.
“A lot of cars were sold at the show which shows there is still interest and demand for new motors. It is about reminding and reinforcing the need for a new car and having the opportunity to speak face to face with a potential customer in a relaxed and informal environment.”
